Dave Wooder (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing) mostly retained the lead he had in Junior prefinal ahead of Dean MacDonald (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing), Marcus Armstrong (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing) and Marta Garcia Lopez (Zanardi – MGL Racing Xtreme) who started from the front row. Wooder took a few steps ahead, but it was very close for second position between Armstrong, Garcia and MacDonald. There was a big gain for Richard Verschoor (FA Kart – Team TKP) in sixth position behind Max Timmermans (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing). In contrast, the weekend ended badly for Thomas Preining (FA Kart – Team TKP) who was 32nd after a pile up on the 1st lap.

The situation shortly after half-distance was that Wooder was well ahead in the lead, Garcia solidly second and MacDonald third ahead of Verschoor. Although a long way back, Preining was attacking and set the fastest lap. Verschoor had to fight to retain 4th place against Spain’s Mauricio Ven der Laan (Intrepid – Intrepid Driver Program). Wooder secured the victory while Garcia assured a superb 2nd position with the overall fastest lap, ahead of MacDonald, in 3rd. Running in 13th position for a time, the French driver Adrien Renaudin (Sodi-Kart Racing Pro) took 21st in the end.
