Solid as an oak, Dave Wooder (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing) won all of his 3 heats in Rotax Junior at Zuera and is ahead in the standings on Saturday evening. However, Marta Garcia Lopez (Zanardi – MGL Xtreme Racing) was not unworthy, winning two races, but a poor performance in first heat puts her in fifth position. Dean MacDonald (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) has recovered to second ahead of Marcus Armstrong (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing) and Darren Keane (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing), while Ayrton Simmons (Tony Kart – Coles Racing) dropped to 16th just ahead of Thomas Preining (FA Kart – Team TKP) who has decidedly little verve at the Spanish circuit. Going forward will be Max Hofer (Birel – KMS Birel Motorsport) in 7th and and especially Jack McCarthy (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) who went from 41st in qualifying to 10th position after the heats. Adrien Renaudin (Sodi-Kart Racing Pro) qualified in 27th position, while the second French driver, Perceval Antoine (Tony Kart – SG Drivers) faced a lot of obstacles and needs to go through the repechage.
