Fantastic victory for Ahmed in the KFJ final at La Conca

Enaam Ahmed (FA Kart / Vortex) managed to sneak inside Devlin Defrancesco at the lights, followed by a small group of opportunists led by Mick Junior (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / TM). Mick took the lead on lap 2 and Defrancesco was 8th. Ahmed took control on lap 4, Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) was 4th, Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) 5th but Defrancesco was coming back, followed by Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex). There was an excellent start for Benjamin Lessennes (Tony Kart / Parilla) in 12th with 21 places gained but Jules Bollier (Tony Kart / Parilla) suffered in 32nd position and had to retire.

Sargeant got the better of Mick on lap 7 for third position and hurried to overtake Lorandi on lap 8. Lorandi had not yet given up, while Defrancesco was closer in 4th position. At halfway Defrancesco recovered 3rd place behind Ahmed and Sargeant. Vartanyan was fifth, ahead of Fewtrell, Mick Junior and Lessennes who continued its ascent by passing Ticktum. While Ahmed had a small lead of 6/10, Sargeant began to watch out for a possible comeback from Defrancesco 4 or 5 tenths behind him. Lorandi took 4th place before Vartanyan could respond.

Enaam Ahmed won a major victory ahead of Logan Sargeant and Devlin Defrancesco. Vartanyan was 4th, Lorandi 5th, Fewtrell 6th, Mick Junior 7th, Lessennes 8th and fastest, Martin 9th and Beckmann 10th.
