Ahmed wins prefinal B

 
The pole sitter Enaam Ahmed (FA Kart / Vortex) led prefinal B in front of Juan Correa (Energy / TM), who was soon overtaken by James Pull (Tony Kart / Vortex). Davide Lombardo (Exprit / Vortex) took 3rd place on the track, but the ranking showed a penalty of 3” which put him back to 11th. Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) went on the attack for 4th position ahead of Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex), Lorenzo Travisanutto (PCR / TM) and Rasmus Lindh (Praga / Parilla).

Benjamin Lessennes (Tony Kart / Parilla) was 16th and looked for now like he would be qualified.

At halfway Correa dropped to 7th while Yue Yang captured third place, followed by Lombardo, second on track, Lindh and Travisanutto who Correa passed on lap 9. Ahmed swaggered at the front of the race by posting repeated fastest laps, Pull fought in the wake of Lombardo, well away from Yue Yang. Ahmed won ahead of Pull and Yue Yang, while Lombardo, in second, was ranked 4th, with Correa 5th and Lindh 6th.
