The Prefinal winners, Dmitry Bogdanov (Tony Kart / LKE) and Nicola Abrusci (Tony Kart / LKE) were on the front row of the 60 Mini final at the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca ahead of Antonio Serravalle (Tony Kart / LKE) and Muizziddin Abdul Gafar (Hero / LKE). Hostilities began at the second corner with problems for Bogdanov, who dropped to 15th and Serravalle to 8th. Abrusci led ahead of Abdul Gafar but Makar Mizevych (Tony Kart / LKE) took 2nd place on the next lap. Dennis Hauger (Hero / LKE) took third ahead of Serravalle, Abdul Gafar and Giuseppe Fusco (Lenzo / LKE). Nothing is ever settled in 60 Mini, and the positions often changed from one lap to the next, early in the race.
Abrusci pulled out a lead of over a second in mid-race, Hauger in second was hounded by Abdul Gafar who was ahead of Fusco, Leonardo Marseglia (Lenzo / LKE) and Bogdanov by 2.5”. Fusco took third position, then second two laps later, while Bogdanov dropped to 10th. It was heated for 3rd place between Abdul Gafar, Hauger and Marseglia. Although the order didn’t change, the gaps of around 5/100 on the line reflect the intensity of the struggle. Victory went to Abrusci ahead of Fusco and Abdul Gafar.
