Forza Racing ups the pace

Following the excellent performance of Kevin Rossel at the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno – a rise from 32nd place in qualifying to sixth in the final with excellent times – the other team drivers at Forza Racing were noted during the 25th Margutti Trophy run last weekend at Lonato. Thanks to the effectiveness of the Tony Kart / TMs from the British team owned by Jamie Croxford, they were all able to highlight their qualities.

Yan Shlom has improved sharply since the beginning of the season. At Lonato, he was consistently running in the top 10 in KF. For example, he posted the fastest lap of the B against C heat and finished 6th in the intermediate classification and in the prefinal. Despite a difficult start, he ranked 8th in the final while following the pace of the leaders.

Although she was racing in only her second race in KF, Wiktoria Pankiewicz was at the top of the table in the heats and simply the fastest time in the prefinal, running a tenth faster than the winner.

Ross Martin, in his second international event, was strong in KF-Junior, 3rd in qualifying and twice second in the heats. He came back to 7th in the prefinal with a gain of eight positions, then returned to the top five in the final despite a difficult start after dominating a number of frontrunners.

Starting far back, Julia Pankiewicz didn’t give up despite several incidents in the heats and earned her qualification with a remarkable performance in the repechage. Again heckled in the prefinal, she put the situation right in the final with a 19th position by regaining 15 places during the race.
