The track was now dry, but the KF-Junior drivers in Prefinal A all went out on wet tyres because of persistent damp patches. The outside line started better than the inside and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) took the lead on the first lap ahead of Enaam Ahmed (FA Kart / Vortex) and Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex). Benjamin Lessennes (Kosmic / Parilla) and Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla) were in 3rd and 4th places from the 2nd lap. Juan Correa (Energy / TM) moved up to sixth from Mick Junior  (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex).

Lessennes attacked Ahmed lap 3 to take second. The Belgian took the lead on the next lap, always followed by Ticktum. Fewtrell took third ahead of his teammates Ahmed and Sargeant. Ticktum set the fastest time and closed on the leader Lessennes, trying to protect his position. Ticktum forced contact when overtaking. Once in the lead, he quickly got away. There were significant gaps everywhere, except for when Sargeant closed up to Ahmed. Correa took the opportunity attack Sargeant on the last lap. Ticktum won ahead of Lessennes, Fewtrell was third with the fastest lap, Ahmed 4th, Correa 5th, Sargeant 6th, Vartanyan 7th.
