Heat 5, A against D

Another good start from Jérémy Iglesias (Lenzo / LKE), second ahead of Arnaud Kozlinski (Intrepid / TM), while Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) escaped in the lead. Kozlinski regained the place on the next lap, and Rick Dreezen (Zanardi / Parilla) took third position. Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) was in 5th ahead of Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter), Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) and Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla). Jan Midrla (Birel / TM) dropped to last position. Kozlinski set the fastest lap on lap 4, the gap decreased to Camponeschi but Dreezen was threatening behind the French driver. Lammers pushed and passed Fore for 6th place on lap 7. Camponeschi took his third consecutive victory, Kozlinski managed to retain 2nd place despite attacks from Dreezen, with the fastest lap. Hajek finished 4th, Iglesias 5th, Lammers 6th with a gain of 11 positions and Fore 7th. There was a comeback for Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex) who gained over 10 places to finish ninth and Ricardo Romkema (Energy / TM) was 11th with a gain of 12 places.

Heat 6, B against C

Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) led from pole in the last KZ2 heat, followed by Paolo De Conto (Birel / TM) who succeeded in getting away from Andrea Dale ‘(CRG / Maxter), who had got away quickly on the inside line. On the second lap, Dale was forced to retire, Riccardo Negro (Top Kart / TM) was in third, 2” off the lead, followed by Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM), Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter), Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) and Mirko Torsellini (ART GP / TM). Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / Maxter) retired. De Conto attacked Ardigo on lap 4, and the British driver had set the fastest lap on lap 6. Ardigo hadn’t given up: he was back in the lead ahead of De Conto before the last lap, with fastest time of the race in his pocket. This wax the second win for Ardigo ahead of De Conto and Hanley, with Tiene 4th, Negro 5th, and Thonon 6th.
