KF prefinal A: Mazepin retains the advantage

Nikita Mazepin (Tony Kart / Vortex) had a slender lead in prefinal A in KF, after Top Kart crashed a few rows behind at the first corner, eliminating Guan Yu Zhou (FA Kart / Vortex) and Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla), while Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) also went off and was again a long way behind. Ollie Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) took second place ahead of Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM), three well spaced out drivers. Karol Dabski (Praga / Parilla) took 4th place ahead of Mario Martucci (Tony Kart / TM) and Nikita Troickiy (Tony Kart / Vortex).

Lando Norris set the fastest time, working hard in the attempt to qualify: he only needed to gain two places, but the gaps were very big to his rivals. The retirement of Joel Johansson (Praga / Parilla) saved him a position. Meanwhile, the situation was stable in the top three, Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 8th, Kevin Lavelli (Top Kart / Parilla) 10th. Victory went to Mazepin 0.3” in front of Ollie Norris and Stupenkov.
