Fusco unbeatable in 60 Mini at the WSK Champions Cup, round 1

Dominant in 60 Mini throughout the first weekend of the Champions Cup at La Conca, Giuseppe Fusco (Lenzo / LKE) started from pole in the final with Dmitry Bogdanov (Tony Kart / LKE) at his side. He took the lead on the first lap with a gap already to David Vidales FA Kart / LKE), Leonardo Marseglia (Tony Kart / LKE) and Antonio Serravalle (Tony Kart / LKE), all from the inside column. Bogdanov dropped to 6th initially, but returned like a rocket to third position, but at most 2.5” from the leader. Positions hardly changed after that and Fusco won the race ahead of Vidales and Bogdanov. Muizzuddin Abdul Gafar (Hero / LKE) came back to 4th, passing Marseglia in 5th and Serravalle in 6th. The big losers in this final were Skeed (Top Kart / Parilla), 19th and Luigi Coluccio (Top Kart / LKE), 25th.
