The 3rd qualifying heat for KZ2 has been postponed to Sunday morning because of delays due to rain, a wise decision that avoids the problem of racing at night as at Lonato last week. Round 1, run in the dry, was won by Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) ahead of Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) and Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM). The second, on a very slippery track, was won by Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), with impressive ease in these conditions ahead of Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) and Thonon. On Saturday night, the unofficial standings saw Camponeschi ahead of Thonon and Ardigo, Hanley 4th, Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) 5th, and Jérémy Iglesias (Lenzo / LKE) 6th.
