Very positive Winter Cup for Forza Racing

The new structure of Jamie Croxford’s Forza Racing team has already demonstrated strong potential at the first major international race of the 2014 season, the famous Winter Cup. Five Forza Racing drivers showcased their abilities due to the effective team and equipment from Tony Kart / TM. The Dane Kevin Rossel scored the best result by finishing 6th in the KF final, an achievement after starting 30th on the grid.

In KF-Junior, the Polish driver Wiktoria Pankiewicz beat her sister Julia who had to fight bravely at the back of the pack after a modest qualifying. Wiktoria, who twice took top 10s in the heats, fought to the end to qualify through the repechage and ended on a positive note with 22nd in the final.

After qualifying 9th in KF, the Venezuelan Sidney Gomez had flattering results in the qualifying heats, but an exclusion in his first heat cost him dear in the intermediate classification. 26th in the prefinal, he climbed to 15th in the final. Russian driver Yan Shlom experienced too many problems to qualify despite quite convincing speed. It was also the first lap that heavily penalized Kevin Rossel in the prefinal, forcing him to retire after a collision after he started on the third row after three good races. But the Dane did not admit defeat and launched into a fantastic comeback in the final. He gained no less than 24 positions, set the 3rd fastest lap and was in 6th place at the finish line. He clearly had the chance to aim for victory without its retirement in the prefinal.
