The Dutchman Leonard Hoogenboom didn’t start on the grid of the Junior final, but managed to reach his place after an extra lap before being stopped by a black flag … The Belgian Max Timmermans (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing) got the better of the Dutch driver Richard Verschoor (FA Kart – Team TKP) from the British driver Dave Wooder who sneaked into 2nd place ahead of the American Darren Keane (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing), the Estonian Juri Vips (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) in fourth, the British driver Alex Quinn (Tony Kart – Coles Racing) in fifth, the Austrian Thomas Preining (FA Kart – Team TKP) in 6th attacking Quinn at the 2nd corner. Vips then took 3rd,  Timmermans dropped to 8th. At this time, the best French driver was Hugo Chevalier (Tony Kart – RK Competition) in 17th position, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart – Jana Racing) in 19th place, and Louis-Ferdinand Simmenauer (Tony Kart – Racing Jana) in 23rd, with Enzo Coursimault having retired soon after the start.

Verschoor was six tenths ahead of Wooder and Vips who were shoulder to shoulder. Preining quickly returned to their wheeltracks and tried his luck on the 7th lap to grab second place. He then set off in pursuit of Verschoor with much greater speed. Vips took 3rd place ahead of Wooder and Keane. Timmermans was in sixth position. With two laps to go, the duel at the front was in full swing and Vips was following closely. Preining took the lead, Vips attacked and won the race ahead of Verschoor and Keane, but Preining lost out by a lot in the final corners. Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer finished 17th, Hugo Chevalier 18th and Louis-Ferdinand Simmenauer 22nd.
