The British driver Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla) was unbeatable in the KF final race at Castelletto. Starting at the front, he escaped on the first lap out of reach of his opponents. He won the race with a lead of 2.8”. Marco Maestranzi (Top Kart / TM) was in 2nd to start with before yielding to Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) and Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex). The Dane then passed the French driver while Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla) went ahead of Maestranzi. But things did not stay like that. Nielsen weakened, allowing Boccolacci back into second and also letting go two Top Karts past. Maestranzi again returned to second position, but not for long. Boccolacci retook him, followed by a reinvigorated Nielsen who also approached dangerously late. However Boccolacci found the energy to maintain his second position from Nielsen and Maestranzi finished fourth from Vigano and Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex) in sixth, and Kevin Rossel seventh. Julien Darras (Tony Kart / TM) did a good job to get back in the top 15 before retiring a lap from the finish.
