Last minute twists at Lyon

Some changes have taken place between the finish of the race and the podium. Anthony Cout was one of the drivers penalised, after finishing third in X30 Senior, who missed the scales after the final; it is unclear whether he was disappointed his place or in a hurry to get to the sporting committee. In any case, he lost third place and Thomas Ricci took the third step of the podium.

Next Frederic Blin, winner in X30 Master, had the bad idea to stop on the slowing-down lap to celebrate his victory with his family before going to parc ferme. A fatal error, as he was inevitably excluded. The Australian Kip Foster was punished in the same way. Thierry Raccamier has been declared the winner of the race, while boos and whistles accompanied the podium.
