Thierry Delré (FK), although on the outside line, made the best start in the X30 Shifter final ahead of the pole sitter Mike Halder (Wild Kart). But Stephen Nuvolini (Praga) attacked and passed Halder on lap 1 and then Delré to take the lead. Halder retaliated on lap 3 and took control. Laurent Merchandise (CRG) and Thomas Cypers (Sodi) completed the leading group who pulled away slightly from Kenny Charles (Merlin), Nicky Morris (Merlin), Aston Hare (Zanardi) and Bogdan Pretenko (Praga).

Halder was the fastest in the lead of the race, but Delré passed Nuvolini and didn’t slacken the pace at all, while Cypers and Merchandise followed closely. Cypers was now isolated in fifth position. Nuvolini renewed the attack from lap 13, setting the best time and was three tenths from the leader. The final duel is was under way. Further back, Hare took 6th place from Morris, Jean-François Kussmaul (Tecno) was 8th from Petrenko. Nuvolini put all his effort into the battle, but Halder defended impeccably and eventually won with panache. Delré took 3rd place, Merchandise 4th, Cypers 5th.
