IAME Lyon: Halder impressive in the Shifter Prefinal

Thierry Delré (CF) made a perfect start in the X30 Shifter prefinal, while Mike Halder (Wild Kart) hesitated for a split second. Kenny Charles (Merlin) and Nicky Morris (Merlin) followed in fourth and fifth places in front of Jean-François Kussmaul (Tecno). Halder took the lead on lap 3 with much better performance than his opponents. The times continued to drop despite continuing rainy weather.

Thomas Cypers (Sodi) drove a great race by closing on Morris and taking his 6th place. Halder crushed the competition in this important prefinal by 5” ahead of Delré, himself 15″ ahead of Nuvolini. Merchandise was 4th, Charles 5th and Cypers 6th.
