The weather had improved at St Laurent de Mure for the A final. Not only had the rain stopped, the track was also drying. The drivers hesitated to choose between wet tyres and slicks, but slicks prevailed.

The start was hectic and the leaders suffered. Anthony Cout (Alpha) overran and Vincent Fraisse (Sodi) was pushed. Hubert Petit (Sodi) drove the first lap in the lead hounded by Nicolas Gonzales (Kosmic), Jeremy Lopes (Tony Kart) and Cout. Fraïsse was only 14th and Matias Milla (Zanardi) 33rd after a few prangs. Gonzales took the lead, while the fight intensified behind him. Cout attacked Kevin Breysse (PCR) and Thomas Ricci (Tony Kart) for second position. Fraïsse posted the fastest lap on the 5th out of the 20 laps and moved into 12th.

Gonzales soared away from the battle, 4” in the lead lead on lap 6. There were warnings for Breysse and Cout. Quentin Rongier (Kosmic) passed Breysse to gain second position, Cout was 4th, Ricci 5th, Victor Compere (Kosmic) 6th ahead of Bryan Laloux (Kosmic) and Lucas Brion (Tony Kart), while the following Fraïsse was in a remote 9th. Breysse took second, Ricci 3rd and Cout 4th. Lucas Midali (Sodi), starting from the last row, was up to 14th position, while Joseph Mawson (Kosmic), his companion in misfortune in the prefinal, was in 17th.

Far behind Gonzales, positions stabilized in the chasing trio. Fraïsse approached Laloux, in sixth, and passed on lap 17. Cout accelerated towards the end and Fraïsse went fifth past Rongier. It was a triumph for Nicolas Gonzales, 5” in the lead then Anthony Cout and Kevin Breysse. Ricci was fourth, Fraïsse fifth, Rongier 6th, Laloux 7th.
