Sarno KF: Vigano wins first heat

Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) made the best start from Lance Stroll (Zanardi / TM) in the first qualifying heat of the KF International Super Cup at Sarno under a leaden sky and pouring rain. Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) quickly came back to third-placed Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex). Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) overtook for sixth, while in the lead group. On lap 3, Stroll fell to 4th, Basz to 5th. Boccolacci took second ahead of Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla). Boccolacci was the leader on lap 4 ahead of Vigano and Joyner. The start of the race was difficult for Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / TM), his teammate Julien Fong Wei Jie (Tony Kart / TM) and Ollie Norris (FA Kart / Vortex). Besancenez had to go to the pits for repair.

Vigano passed Boccolacci on lap 6 and the French driver dropped to 4th, after a spin. Vigano won under the thunder and Bocolacci took second with the fastest time. Stroll and Basz fought to the end for the third position, and the Polish driver passed the Canadian and finished third. Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM) was fifth ahead of Joyner, Nielsen and Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) 7th.
