The sporting committee has worked hard this weekend at PFI, from the qualifying heats to the finals. In the KF World Championship, Luca Corberi received 10” for openly pushing Armand Convers, causing the retirement of the French driver on the first lap, but that did not change his classification as the Italian had retired 5 laps from the end. Ben Barnicoat had appealed his penalty in the prefinal which cost him dearly but allowed him to run in the final. Unfortunately, after two laps he retired. Also, Jussi Kuusiniemi was denied racing in the final for nothing.
In the KFJ International Supercup the result was changed with the penalty for Daniel Ticktum – the second for him after that of the prefinal – for contact with his teammate Lando Norris to take the lead. Norris got the win, Jehan Daruvala the second place and Mick Betsch took the third step of the podium. Ticktum dropped to 11th position.
