Not to many absences at Genk for the second European round

The drop off was not too bad between the two rounds of the European Championship in 125 gearbox. There are 20 missing drivers so the total drops from 129 to 109. Proportionally, KZ has lost most with seven missing, many of whom are well-known like Jérémy Iglesias who is limited by the budget of his team, Patrick Hajek who has had to have an eye operation following a problem in Germany, Antonio Piccioni as he has  changed equipment as well as Joey Hanssen and Fabian Federer.

 

In KZ2, Italy has six of the 20 drivers absent from the class, the others remained in their native Eastern Europe. Both French drivers came and Brice De Gaye was noticeable with his second fastest lap in Qualifying
