The heat was significant at Alcaniz for the two timed sessions for KF, taking to the track in alternation with KF-Junior. The air temperature approached 30 °, and that of the track exceeds 50 °, so the weather is good in Spain …

The hierarchy changed after free practice. Pole went to Christian Sorensen (Tony Kart / Vortex) quite surprisingly, ahead of Benjamin Barnicoat (ART GP / TM) by two hundredths with 58” 469. In third and fourth places are Nicklas Nielsen and Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) then in 5th Max Verstappen (CRG / TM), and Tom Joyner sixth ahead of Lance Stroll (both Zanardi / Parilla). Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) is 8th from Andy Chang Wing Chung (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Nicolas Gonzales (Kosmic / Parilla), which is not what we see every day either. Sébastien Bailly (Birel / TM) was astonished at his 15th position behind the 14th from his teammate George Russell. However, Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM) in 17th, Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) in 22nd and Vasiliy Romanov (Energy / TM) in 30th show the situation.
