The testing phase has finished at Alcaniz and the official qualifying for the European Championship will take place in the early afternoon. Generally, the times set by competitors in 2013 are significantly faster than in previous years. KFs are running at less than 57”, while Brandon Maisano, the pole-sitter for the KF2 World Cup in 2009, was the only one to fall below 59” back then. Similarly, the fastest time achieved in European KF3 qualifying in 2008 by Ignacio Cabezas stood at 1’01” 216 ??while David Beckmann (Zanardi / BMB) is already down below a minute. At the time, the Dunlop tires were standard for all, but in 2013, it is Vega for KF and LeCont in KFJ.
