The DR / TM drivers Riccardo Negro and Emil Antonsen monopolized the front row of the second Prefinal, with Nicola Marcon (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Marijn Kremers (Birel / TM) on the second row. Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter) was on the 10th row. Negro led from Antonsen, Marcon was third by 5/10, followed by Joel Johansson (Energy / TM) and Tiene who was already 5th then Clement Da Silva (Birel / TM) and Kremers. Johansson was unleashed: he moved up from fourth to second in one pass, and then attacked Negro. He took the lead ahead of the two DR drivers, who now had to watch out for the threatening Tiene. Antonsen attacked Negro, and Tiene followed Marcon and approach closed in.

Johansson was more than a second ahead by halfway and second was none other than Tiene. Negro took third position from Antonsen. Luca Tilloca (Maranello / TM) was ranked 6th from Kremers, Menno Paauwe (Birel / TM) and Da Silva. Tiene gently closed on Johansson, but it was difficult to join him before the finish. Tilloca seemed able to attack Marcon, and succeeded on the 14th of 16 laps. Tiene drove a superb penultimate lap, but it wasn’t enough to deprive Johansson of victory. Negro was third ahead of Antonsen, Tilloca fifth, Marcon sixth, Paauwe 7th, Kremers 8th, Pedro Hiltbrand (LH / Maxter) 9th and Da Silva 10th. Charles Fiault (Sodi / Parilla) got into the final with his 15th position, as did Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart / Vortex), in 17th.
