DR Racing and Negro Still Ahead at Sarno

Just fifteen days after his victory in the WSK Master Series, Riccardo Negro won Final 1 in the WSK Euro Series on the Neapolitan track of Sarno. DR Racing confirmed the high level of performance of its chassis powered by TM engines prepared in-house. Negro was excellent during the whole weekend and achieved the best results of the meeting, while Antonsen entered the top 5 on Sunday.

Riccardo Negro came very close to the grand slam in KZ2 thanks to a long string of victories in the WSK Euro Series last weekend. Poleman already on Friday, on that occasion he set the time of 1’03”696, a record which remained unbeaten during the meeting and equalled the best performances of the higher category, KZ1. The Italian driver won the heats and the final on Saturday, and then Sunday’s heats, before taking a second place in Final 2 with a delay of just 55 milliseconds. Thanks to these results he is now getting closer to the first place in the championship classification.

The Norwegian driver Emil Antonsen had a few difficulties during Saturday’s heats, but got back to the top 10 in Final 1 after recovering as many as 17 places. On Sunday he was regularly in the top 5 of the category up to Final 2.
