Hanley, Lammers and De Conto was the top three after the start. But behind that Verstappen had already returned to fourth position, while Kozlinski set the fastest lap. De Conto attacked Lammers for 2nd place, soon threatened by Verstappen and Kozlinski. But the Dutchman took the place. Hanley, only 3/10 ahead, had not ensured his victory.

At the halfway point, Lammers remained second in the wake of the leader Hanley, 0.8” in front of Verstappen, De Conto, Leclerc, Kozlinski, Ardigo and Iglesias. It was a good effort from Verstappen at the finish, but the positions didn’t change. Hanley won ahead of Lammers, Verstappen was third, De Conto 4th, Ardigo 5th.
