Praga protagonist in the KZ at the WSK Master Series

The second round of the 2013 WSK Master Series took place in Sarno (Salerno, Italy) at the Napoli International Circuit. Praga Kart Racing is on track in KZ2 with its very own technical manager and multiple world title winner Alessandro Manetti, as well as former international karter Augusto Di Braccio, today owner of the Italian team DB Motorsport that races with Praga chassis, and team driver Radim Maxa. After Saturday’s heats, the three are together on the start grid for Final 1: 22nd, 20th and 21st. Here Manetti does the best and climbs up to 16th place, but he waits until Sunday to go wild: after fantastic heats (9th and 10th), he starts Final 2 from 9th and closes 12th. An excellent result to a race that was mainly intended for development of the material.

Praga is also on track in KF with Karol Dabski and in KF-J with Marino Sato. The Pole starts his weekend on top, qualifying for the finals as 3rd best overall, after podium-like performances in the heats, closing twice 3rd and once 2nd; then in the pre-final an unfair move by another driver literally sends him off track. He manages to get going again, but due to vehicle damage he ends 23rd. He’ll have his chance at a come-back right here in Sarno on April 21st, for the next WSK event: round 3 of the Euro Series.
