WSK Euro Series: Norris doubles his score in KFJ

The first half of the season is over and WSK paddock is now getting ready for the two remaining rounds, with drivers who need to widen the gap and other drivers who – on the contrary – need to achieve remarkable recoveries. WSK Promotion European kart racing is moving to Sarno (Italy), on 21st April, then – on 2nd June – the closing round of Genk (Belgium). Let’s have a look at the standings after the first round of Muro Leccese and the half-season Spanish round, run in Zuera.

Norris doubles his score in KFJ. Lando Norris (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) produced a performance comparable to his performance in Muro Leccese. He won Pre-final and Final, widening the gap in the standings over the second, his fellow countryman Daniel Ticktum. The latter rocketed himself from 11th to second, leaving behind the Italian Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), whose performance fell short of expectations in Spain. Anyway, Lorandi’s lead (3rd) over his competitors is only of few points. Besides Lorandi and Ticktum, also other drivers are committed to pursuing the leader. Among them, the Russian Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart-BMB-Vega), fourth of the standings before the Italian Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega). Pulcini, who was third upon his arrival in Spain, will have to redeem himself in the next race after he did not get any points here in Zuera.
