Verstappen and Hanley share the wins

Zuera, WSK Euro Series, KZ1 Sunday.

Round 1: Max Verstappen (CRG / TM) won from Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / Parilla) who managed to overtake Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) and Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter). Paolo De Conto (Birel / TM) and Arnaud Kozlinski (Birel / TM) clashed several times before the Italian took the advantage from the French driver. Starting from the last row, Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) recovered and was the fastest in 17th.

A rocky start put Thonon and De Conto out on the second lap, while Hanley took the opportunity to move ahead of Kozlinski, Verstappen and Pex. Very fast, Lennox-Lamb returned to the leaders and finished second in the wheeltracks of his countryman Hanley after passing Verstappen. Kozlinski held off Roberto Toninelli (Birel / TM) for fifth place, who finished narrowly behind Iglesias in seventh ahead of Ardigo who was fastest.
