The 24th Margutti Trophy will officially get going on Friday 8th March with timed free practice and administrative check. During the first day of the event, all 200 drivers and the respective teams will be busy in finding the optimal set-up for wet conditions foreseen by weather forecasts also for Saturday, when official qualifying practice and heats will be held.
For the occasion, the organizer has set up a large hospitality area with Live Timing provided by the Italian Timekeepers Federation, the TV coverage of the event as well as the printed official results of each session. The hospitality area will also welcome the final winners for the award and prize giving ceremony.
As usual, the ceremony will see the first 10 drivers in each category receiving prizes for a total of 5,000 euro in each class.
The first classified of each category will receive a complete kart courtesy of Maranello Kart, Tony Kart, Praga, and Birel. The prize list will also include: one Iame engine; set of tyres courtesy of Vega and Le Cont; racing garments courtesy of Sparco and Mir; set of bodywork courtesy of KG; accessories courtesy of TM, Vamec, Haase; BETA tools; Dell’Orto carburettors; Momodesign helmets; 40 boxes of FIMO oil; 40 boxes of Beretta products; 40 boxes of Barilla pasta.
