KFJ heats: Lorandi leaves nothing for the competition

Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) found no opponent who could beat him in the KFJ heats during the Winter Cup 2013, putting him in his favourite position in the classic Italian race on Sunday. In second, Dan Ticktum (FA Kart / Vortex) finished 8 points ahead of Martijn Van Leeuwen (Zanardi / Parilla) and an excellent surprise early in the year, Max Defourny (Kosmic / TM). The Indian Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex) made a favourable impression in 6th.

Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) finished with two wins and is in the top 10, despite a retirement. Also handicapped by a difficult race, the German David Beckman (Zanardi / BMB) and the Swiss Mick Betsch (Tony Kart / Parilla) did enough in their other races to be 12th and 13th. Note the 21st position for the young German Sophia Floersch (Tony Kart / Vortex) who confirms her performance despite a retirement in a heat.
