The Rotax Grand Finals 2012 timeline

After a final free practice session of 15′ on Wednesday morning, the fourth since Monday, the competitors in the 2012 Rotax World Finals will start the main business of the competition with qualifying at 1:00 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. (local time), an important afternoon for the 276 competitors competing in the 4 categories at Portimao.

For the same reason, the warm-up will last for 2 hours on Thursday morning, before the 16 qualifying races planned from 10:35 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Just after the Micro Max go out on the track for their first practice session. There will be 8 heats and the repechage on Friday, before qualifying for the Micro Max Festival.

Saturday will be the decisive day with prefinals planned from 9:50 to 12:10 and from 1:10 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. the finals. The podiums will be at 17h and the “Drivers Party” at 21h. Portuguese time is UT + 0, one hour less than in France.

Kartcom will be following events live at Portimao from Thursday morning, with a particular focus on Team France.
