Verstappen on pole in Las Vegas

In Las Vegas, the timed session for the Supernationals in KZ2 was dominated by Max Verstappen (CRG / TM) with a time of 43” 586. The young Dutchman was ahead of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) by 0.029s, while Patrik Hajek (Parga / Parilla) set the third time by over a tenth and a half, followed by Rick Dreezen ( Tony Kart / Vortex) with barely any gap. Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) was fifth by 0.288”, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) 6th by 0.307”, Gary Carlton (Energy / BMB) by 0.371” in 7th, Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) 8th by 0.379”, Mirko Torsellini (Tony Kart / Vortex) 9th by 0.465” and, more surprisingly, Bas Lammers (Praga / Parilla) 10th by 0.489”, when he was well inside the top 10 before. There was no time for Gianni Gazzurelli (FA Kart / Vortex), who had been in mid-grid in practice, Ben Hanley (ART GP) was disqualified when he was consistently in the top 5 so far.
