On lap 5, several attacks in the lead group occurred almost simultaneously and Leclerc found himself ahead of Barnicoat and Mawson, followed by Collard, Webster, Hubert Graham and Savona. Barnicoat closed on his teammate and rival, however, Graham and Hubert passed Savona, then Collard took Mawson for third position. The top 6 drivers gathered again for the finish, while Hubert was distanced in 7th position. Leclerc assured his victory with a slight lead of 357 milliseconds ahead of Barnicoat, Collard was 3rd, Mawson 4th, Graham 5th and Savona 6th, the fastest driver in the race.

The French driver Antoine Rocard (Sodi) was 11th, Hubert Petit (Sodi) 13th and Easthope couldn’t finish better than 21st. Affolter and Parsons gave up at the start.
