Negro the surprise leader after KZ2 heats

Three drivers broke away from the rest in KZ2 at the WSK Final Cup – Patrick Hajek and Bas Lammers on Praga / Tec-Sav Parilla and Anthony Abbasse on a factory Sodi / TM. However, none of them was in the lead in the intermediate classification. Hajek retired with a mechanical failure while dominating the second heat, and Lammers and Abbasse were then deprived of their first and second positions in heat 3 due to jumped starts which earned them a penalties 10”.

Riccardo Negro (DR / TM), who already had a 5th and a 3rd place, took the top spot with a win in heat 3. He was followed by Andrea Dale (CRG / Maxter), finishing behind Abbasse and Lammers, limiting the damage to the two top drivers. The Finn Henri Kokko (Tony Kart / Vortex) was fifth, Sauro Cesetti (Top Kart / Parilla) sixth, Daniele Delli Compagni (CRG / TM) seventh, Maxime Roy (Tony Kart / TM) 8th ahead of Hajek and the Romanian David Dugaesescu (DR / TM). Thomas Letailleur (GP Racing / TM) finished 11th due to a difficult start in the final heat.
