Superkart : Double skate in the Val de Vienne

Final and a multitude of perspectives
The circuit of Val de Vienne will receive within the framework of the French cup of circuits (cars), the ultimate large-scale event in Superkart on the next October 6th and 7th, 2012. It will be the fireworks of the season rewarded by a prolific prize-giving. Indeed, this weekend in Poitou is at first the support of final of the French Open championship of Superkart, but also the opportunity of a specific Cup named French Cup established once the year for the overall performance on the whole weekend. It is also the 3rd and last round of the 1st Coupe de France to be intended in particular for the drivers to more national and restricted program. This confrontation should be for some the opportunity to extend or make up the enjoyments and sadness of the European championship which will have ended previous week in Le Mans, even if the future and new champion 2012 will not be of the show. Become “Open”, the French championship of Superkart keeps all the more its label of international platform.

The title is devolved but the ranking not frozen.
Emmanuel Vinualès (Anderson – DEA) the outgoing champion cannot be any more joined in the overall, since the last round run to Dijon. He is thus going to accumulate a second consecutive national title. He knew on the other hand disappointments about the European championship and wants to confirm that he is since D.Payart stood back, the leader of the discipline. He will have the free spirit to aim only at the victory. The fight for the final podium remains much undecided. Every time the ranking made emerge new second, this one is affected by hazards of the race (misfortune). So John Riley ( Anderson / FPE) the boss of the Red Speed Team gave up competing for himself to the European level to focus on the preparation of the candidates for the European title driving under his livery, but on the French races, he puts back his helmet and demonstrates his intact knowledge (2 victories). He often took the head of the races but too often abandoned to dispute the inevitable advance of Vinualès. He left the place of the temporary second to Cyril Vayssé who, from then on knew his difficulty too. While he had taken masterfully the command of the race in Dijon, he has of resolve to stop. The driver from the Lavandou could feel the pressure in front of double stake which waits for him. He is indeed leading of this Coupe de France in the specific classification, concentrated on 3 events, knowing that the winner of this one will see offering by the FFSA his participation to the Championship 2013 !

His direct opponent since some seasons is called Alexandre Sébastia, the other Southern driver. He is on a list of 5 drivers who should be shared the last two places of the final podium not yet appointed to the Championship and he is especially in the running for the Coupe de France, having performed in Croix-en-Ternois in specific event of this Cup. He very fast adapted itself to his new chassis Anderson, motorized by a revived FPE, what lets expect from its potential performances. To dispute the victory to the French, 3 of the close drivers in the overall ranking are members of the British Team, Riley in head, but also Vésa Léthinen, 3rd last year and which hoped to improve, and surprised David Harvey, faithful “senior” of this sport very regular this season.

To pepper the competition, the other drivers will play on the ultimate possibility of collecting the honors of the podium, as Antoine Lacoste ( Anderson – FPE) who lives a frustrated season, Pierre Focqué of the team Payart, or still the very present on outposts Swiss this year, Philippe Gerber and Etienne Aebischer.

201, A jump forward, what about 2012 ?
Last year, the lap times had been spectacular, 6 drivers from the qualifications took place under the barrier of 1’35”. Pole of E. Vinualès in 1’33’’881’’’ smashed the former record of the track which dated 2008. In race, D.Payart realized an excellent 1’34’’231’’’ just in front of Vinualès in 1’34″246’’’!
