International GPO Karting

Aubry was away already in first place, ahead of Jules Bollier (Kosmic / Parilla), Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla), François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla), Matteo Raspatelli (Tony Kart / Parilla) and Julien Darras (Tony Kart / Parilla ). The LM karting driver overtook the Belgian driver immediately. Aubry was already more than a second ahead, while the race was only on the fourth lap. Bollier and Darras were impatient behind Besancenez. James Pull (Zanardi / Parilla) was in seventh ahead of Bryan Elpitiya (Zanardi / Parilla).

Besancenez tried to resist, but Darras and Bollier passed for 3rd and 4th places. Aubry and Becamel were separated by 1.3” and had pulled away at the front of the race, Darras, in third, soon built up some distance from Bollier. At the halfway point, the gap was reduced slightly between the top 2. In 8th position, Benjamin Lessennes returned with the fastest lap, but then there was a crash in front of him and he found himself in the grass. Becamel set the fastest time and gradually closed on the leader, Aubry reacted and set the fastest time.

Besancenez took 4th place from Bollier, Pull was 6th, Elpitiya 7th. The valiant and unfortunate Ilott was back for now in 17th position. Bollier lost places and fell to 14th. Elpitiya attacked then Pull gained 5th place. Aubry was setting the pace and won his second final of the weekend ahead of Becamel who was very incisive. Julien Darras was 3rd, Paolo Besancenez 4th, Bryan Elpitiya 5th from James Pull, Maxime Naud, Bastien Leguay, Matteo Raspatelli and Valentin Naud 10th. Ilott was in the top 15.
