The poles on Sunday: Gonzales, Mantione and Ilott

The temperature was cool but the sun and blue sky over the region for Sunday at Essay GPO, the air and track barely reached 10 °. The DR / Vortex of Nicolas Gonzales and Pascal Belmaaziz were ahead of Sébastien Bailly (Swiss Hutless / TM) who was pipped to the post for 3rd place by Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Parilla). Gonzales took pole for the second time this weekend with 48” 409. Victor Compere (Kosmic / Parilla) took fifth place ahead of Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex).

The four musketeers in KZ2 took to the track, and it is Nolan Mantione (Birel / TM) who took pole with a lap in 48” 165, ahead of Christophe Benoit (Birel / TM), Amos Mechoulam (DR / TM ) and François Santoni (PCR / TM).

In KF3, the British driver Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla) set this the pole time with 48” 888 ahead of another Zanardi, the brilliant Bryan Elpitiya. Third place went to Jules Bollier (Kosmic / Parilla), while Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) advanced to the fourth by only 5/100, so the drivers are close. François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla) was fifth from Matteo Raspatelli (Tony Kart / Parilla), Julien Darras (Tony Kart / Parilla), Valentin Naud (Kosmic / Parilla), Arthur Lehouck (Sodi / Parilla) and Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla ) in 10th.
