Gonzales continues his momentum

The polesitter has produced another superb race, leading from start to finish in the second prefinal in KF2 at Essay. Nicolas Gonzales (DR / Vortex) prevailed by over 1.5” while also being credited with the fastest lap. Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Parilla) was held up from the second starting position, but he retook Sébastien Bailly (Swiss Hutless / TM) on the 3rd lap. Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / Vortex) was 4th, Victor Compere (Kosmic / Parilla) 5th and Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) 6th.

Gonzales escaped irretrievably to victory with Bailly and Belmaaziz following a successful move on Boutonnet with incredible braking on the last lap to win third place, an attack which also benefited Compère to finish fourth and Moineault 5th ahead of Boutonnet.
