The Cup for Corberi in KF3

Finally an exciting race for the final of the World Cup in KF3. Guillermo Russo (FA Kart / Vortex) lost his edge in a clash with Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB) and Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla). Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex), very fast from the start, settled comfortably in the lead to cross the finish line 1.3 seconds ahead of Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla), the fastest on the track who gradually rose from 10th. Sitnikov climbed on the 3rd step of the podium. Among the frontrunners early in the race, Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla) was in second place before losing ground. His kart allowed him to return to 9th, 5 thousandths off Baptista.

Slavko Ivanovic (Tony Kart / Vortex) drove a clever race, as did Alex Palou (CRG / BMB), which gave them respectively 4th and 5th places. Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM), noticeably less comfortable in fast corners, returned to the edge of the top 10 before yielding under pressure from his opponents at the end of the race to finish 14th. Stroll fell to 11th position, just ahead of Valentin Naud (FA Kart / Vortex).

Updated: Sitnikov received a penalty of 10” due to a rough maneuver. He found himself ranked 11th and left the third step of the podium to Ivanovic.
