Felice Tiene (CRG / BMB) dominated the pre-final in thr KF2 World Cup at Zuera after getting the measure of Max Verstappen (CRG / TM) on the second lap. The Dutchman tried to threaten the Italian, but he gradually pulled away to cross the line 0.6 seconds ahead. The Briton Jordon Lennox-Lamb held 3rd place on behalf of CRG who here achieved a beautiful triple. Behind this trio, the battle was initially tight between Matteo Viganò (Top Kart / Parilla), Pedro Hiltbrand (FA Kart / Vortex) and Dennis Olsen (Energy / TM). Antonio Fuoco (Kosmic / Vortex) soon joined the group. But the fastest driver, Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) lost out a lot early in the race, as did Anthoine Hubert (Formula K / Parilla), caught in a clash that also saw Marco Maestranzi (PCR / Parilla) in trouble.

Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla) was able to make a good recovery from 16th to 10th in the wheeltracks of teammate Ben Barnicoat, but so far doesnt seem to have the potential to hit the front. The Brazilian Thiago Vivacqua (Zanardi / Parilla) achieved his best performance of the weekend coming back from 27th to 12th position, Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) was able to improve his score from 14th.
