Max Verstappen (CRG / TM) and Daniel Bray (GP / TM) were the at the front at the start of the KZ2 final traveling neck and neck in a straight line. The Dutchman lapped in the lead ahead of the New Zealander, but he made a superb attack at the parabolic. Max wanted to recover his lead and attempted to outbrake at the left by the paddock. But he missed, and hit Bray violently who manages to get back on track although a long way back. Poor Daniel also spun on the line and found himself 29th. Verstappen retired.

Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / Maxter) unexpectedly took 1st place ahead of Emil Antonsen (DR / TM), Riccardo Negro (DR / TM) and Philip Orcic (Zanardi / TM). The Canadian was then overtaken by Jan Midrla (Birel / TM) who soon took third position. Lennox escaped from his pursuers by 1.4” in mid-race. Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter) was back strongly in eighth position ahead of Loris Spinelli (Formula K / TM). The fight was close in the chasing pack of five drivers who were very strong and close to Antonsen; Midrla, Negro, Orcic and Fasberg.

The British driver from the CRG Racing Team, Jordon Lennox-Lamb, won the World Cup in KZ2 in 2012. DR Racing put its two drivers Antonsen and Negro on the podium. Midrla finished 4th ahead of Orcic, Fasberg and Delli Compagni. Tiene, in eighth, was the fastest on the track, Müller was 9th and Spinelli 10th. The Champion of Norway, Bray did not deserve such a fate, and finished 20th.
