Russell returns in the Academy Trophy at Angerville

International World Karting Championship

At the CIK-FIA Academy Trophy, the British driver George Russell will be the centre of attention at Angerville this weekend. At Braga he was an unlucky leader, but since then he managed to add a second European KF3 title to his name, confirming his high current form. We can expect many changes in the hierarchy of the class in view of the very different experience of international competition among the participants. The Swedish Joonas Lappalainen, leading the standings, is very highly rated. The French Adeline Prudent was 5th, Erwan Julé 7th and Paolo Besancenez 16th will have the opportunity to shine at home. Besancenez will probably be much faster at Angerville than Braga. For the rest, the competition remains wide open.
