Leclerc takes a double revenge

The front row was 100% ART GP for the KF2 final with Ben Barnicoat and Charles Leclerc. After two rolling laps, the drivers finally slowed down, and the start was given. Barnicoat kept the lead ahead of Tom Joyner (LH / BMB), Felice Tiene (CRG / BMB) and Leclerc. Tiene passed for second, third was Leclerc on the next lap, then came Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart / Vortex), Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) and Pedro Hiltbrand (FA Kart / Vortex). Tiene to within 3/10 of the leader, Robin Hansson (Tony Kart / Vortex) took sixth position ahead of Carlos Gil (Tony Kart / Vortex), Thiago Vivacqua (Zanardi / Parilla) and Dennis Olsen (Energy / TM).

Max Verstappen was quickly back in 12th position, while Tiene and Barnicoat duelled for 1st place. But the British driver fought back and Leclerc joined the fight. Barnicoat attacked Tiene under braking and Leclerc jumped at the chance to take them both at once! The battle continued between Barnicoat and Tiene for second place, while Lelcerc took a lead of 5/10. Fioravanti approximated Barnicoat, now third, followed by Nielsen. Tiene returned to the leader at the end of the race, but Leclerc did not yield him the victory, much less his first place in the championship. After an attack by Fioravanti on Barnicoat in the last corner, there was contact, but the Italian stayed on the track and finished third from Nielsen who took advantage of the disarray of British driver.
