Felicioni on pole in National

It was a difficult task for the National drivers who had to run their qualifying on slick tires on a track that was still wet. Antoine Nectoux (FA Kart) and Anthony Coudert (Kosmic) vied for first place in Group 1 and Coudert took it on the last lap with  1’24” 445, Maxime Bidard (CRG) being inserted into second position narrowly in front of Nectoux, Pierre-Adrien Hivert (Intrepid) and Thomas Lemée (Gillard) fifth.  

The track condition was gradually improving in group 2 while the rain paused. Thomas Lawrence (Tony Kart) and Aymeric Lesaulnier (Tony Kart) held the top rankings, Thomas Pottier (Kosmic) went ahead before they responded, but Pottier dropped below 1’24” at the very end of the session and set the fastest time of 1’23” 832. Lawrence kept second place ahead of Lesaulnier, Anthony Fotia (Intrepid) fourth and Lucas Brion (Kosmic) fifth.

Frederic Pierre Herpin (Kosmic) held the lead in the third group and drove down the time on every lap. Mathias Vaison (Tony Kart) give the reply before Thomas Bost Jancic (Tony Kart). Sebastien Gibier (Tecno) was interposed in second position. Ultimately Vaison took it with 1’23” 392 from Herpin, Gibier, Louis Homont (Mirage) and Bost Jancic.

In group 4, there was Clement Martin (Swiss Hutless) and Joffrey Bourhis (Intrepid) who were fastest early on, but Enzo Felicioni (Tony Kart) set a 1’23” 346 lap, the best performance out of all qualifying sessions in National on Saturday morning. Martin took second place ahead of Bourhis, Florian Boucheron Seguin 4th (DR), 5th Nathan Hucher (Energy).

Given the differences between the groups, the classification alternated the positions of each group.
