Equipped with a Formula Abarth 1400 cc Turbo ECU Magneti vehicle and Tatuus chassis, Sean will be competing against 21 other participants coming from countries across Asia and Europe. Sean is the youngest Indonesian driver in the competition.

The first round of this year’s Formula Pilota Series will be held in the Shanghai International Circuit on 16-17 June 2012. Before the official race, Sean and his teammates will try out the Shanghai track through several test and free practice sessions on 14-15 June. Entering his first race, Sean has prepared himself by undergoing practices at Sepang, Malaysia and Zhuhai, China. A total of 500 laps have been completed by this young national Rally champion in both circuits.

After the first round in Shanghai, Sean and his teammates will move on to the Ordos International Circuit to face the 2nd and 3rd round that will be held on 7-8 July 2012 and 18-19 August 2012 respectively. The 4th round of the Series will then be held in Zhuhai International Circuit on 15-16 September 2012 and followed by the 5th round to be held in Penbay International Circuit, Taiwan on 6-7 October 2012. The Formula Pilota China Series will then hold its 6th and final round in Sepang, Malaysia on 3-4 November 2012.

“I really look forward to competing in this year’s Formula Pilota. Although I know that my competitors will be tough, especially since many of them have had experience racing in this event before, but I’m confident that I will be able to score some good points and fast time in this first race,” expressed by Sean, champion of AKOC 2010.

The test results conducted by Sean has demonstrated that he can drive a Formula car like racers having more years of experience and able to score good timing throughout the laps tested by this young driver. Mark Goddard, as the Manager of Eurasia as well as driver instructor for the team expressed the same feeling, stating that Sean is ready to compete in this prestigious Formula Pilota competition and he is confident that Sean can overcome the strong competition his opponents will give.
