There was hardly any suspense during the Final of the Asia-Pacific KF2 Championship. Starting from pole position by virtue of his win in the Prefinal, the Danish driver Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic-Vortex) led from start to finish after taking advantage of the battle behind him to escape the pack. Towards the end of the racing he held off the fight-back by the Italian Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart-Vortex), only 5th at the end of the first lap but gradually gaining the measure of the Argentine Federico Panetta, the Singapore driver Andrew Tang (Kosmic-TM) and the Japanese Nirei Fukuzumi (Kosmic-Vortex). Starting in 22nd place after a penalty for causing avoidable contact in the Prefinal, the Italian Paolo Ippolito (Kosmic-Vortex) finished in 6th place ahead of the Japanese Ryota Kiyohara (Tony Kart-Vortex), the Dane Kevin Rossel (Birel-BMB) and the Japanese drivers Hiroaki Kurata (RK-Parilla) and Sotaro Mimura (ART GP-TM).
