Tiene swings past Camponeschi at the end

Once again Max Verstappen (Intrepid / TM) went ahead in the last qualifying heat for A against B in the early afternoon on Sunday, followed by Felice Tiene (CRG / BMB) and Tereza Gromanova (Kosmic / Vortex), who made an excellent start. But Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) went on the attack, first by passing Gromanova. Tiene managed to pass Verstappen on the third lap, and also Tereza tried her luck with Camponeschi.

Tiene escaped from Camponeschi by a few lengths, while Verstappen took 3rd place from Gromanova. Daiki Sasaki (Kosmic / Vortex) was in fifth position and soon to pass Tereza. Tom Joyner (LH / BMB) was right behind his teammate Sorensen, then took sixth, and Davide Fore (CRG / BMB) would soon pass the Swedish driver who was now 8th. Tiene and Camponeschi took off in the lead, the Tony driver regularly closing up on the CRG driver. Sasaki took over fourth position behind Verstappen.

On lap 8, Camponeschi was close enough to Tiene to attack and seize the lead. But the battle was not over. Tiene returned close to the leader on the last lap to the point that both of them started the last lap together and Tiene prevailed by 73 thousandths on the line from Camponeschi, with Verstappen third, Sasaki fourth, Joyner fifth, Fore 6th and Gromanova 7th.
