This time Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) dominated the second qualifying heat in KF1, A against C. Leading from start to finish, he finished more than 3” in the lead with the fastest lap of the race. Behind him, Daiki Sasaki (Kosmic / Vortex) was behind Karol Basz (Birel / BMB) for several laps before he could take second place a few meters from the finish: a victim of an engine problem, he lost out to Sasaki on the line. Felice Tiene (CRG / BMB) finally passed Yannick De Brabander (Formula K / TM) to gain 4th place.

The fight wasn’t gentle in the pack. Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / BMB) was able to overtake Kazuya Ishii (Birel / BMB) on the last lap as well as Hiroshi Umegaki (Birel / BMB). Although he started well, Anthoine Hubert (Formula K / TM) was in a lively group that lost him time early in the race. He then fought to keep ninth place against Christian Sorensen (LH / BMB) who was initially delayed. Bad luck continued for John Filippi (Tony Kart / Vortex) who crashed with another Tony Kart at the lights and retired after a few meters, with a damaged rear axle.
