The young driver Dylan Davies conquered an excellent 2nd place in KZ2 for his team, AVG Racing, at the second meeting of the WSK Euro Series held at Val d’Argenton. In the rain as well as in dry weather, Davies was constantly on the attack, from the beginning to the end of the French round, behind the wheel of his PCR/TM. Dylan set the third fastest time in timed qualifying, then was constantly in the top 3, and almost caught the leader in Final 1. He took the second step of the podium by setting the second fastest time, very close to the winner’s time. He was again among the protagonists the following day, from the heats to Final 2, with a 4th place that confirmed the driver’s potential, as well as that of his kart.

In KZ1, Simo Puhakka proved to be very comfortable in the dry, reaching the top 5 in Saturday’s heats. He was even more effective in Final 2, on Sunday, with an excellent 6th place and a 4-place recovery in the championship classification. Performances shown by AVG Racing drivers on a highly technical track, where grip was low, bode well for next European Championship, to be held at Wackersdorf in a month’s time.

In the meanwhile, Arnaud Kozlinski will be back in KF1 for the first round of the 2012 World Championship in Japan, on the circuit of Suzuka, an important first for the Dutch team.
